Getting to Les Haudères
Our Coliving space is located in a typical Swiss village in Valais, les Haudères. Surrounded by beautiful wooden chalet, 4000m high mountains and many glaciers, it sometimes feels like you have reached the end of the world. 😉 But no worries, as remote as it is, it is still very easy to get here!
By public transportation:
- From Geneva Airport: A direct train runs from the Airport to Sion (from Zurich Airport you have one change in Visp). Note, there is also a very nice connection from Milan (direct train to Sion) thus it’s also worth checking this connection
- From Sion: Catch a typical swiss postal bus from the Sion train station. The bus stop “Les Haudères Centre” is in front of our door.
By Car : it’s about 35 minutes from Sion. Free parking available

If you are staying for a month, it is possible to get a half-fare card. This card costs 120 CHF for a month and will give you 50% off all train tickets. If you only plan to come from the airport and go back, this is not worth it, but if you plan to take a few side trips in Switzerland, then this can really be worth it. Example: from Geneva Airport to our place, a full-fare ticket costs 74.40 CHF (148.8 CHF return ticket). With the half fare, this goes down to 37.2 CHF (74.4 return)
The earlier you book your tickets, the cheaper they are! But be careful, so-called supersaver tickets are only valid for one particular train.
Our advice: book in advance if you are sure to make it to the specific train (for example on the day you leave the coliving). If you arrive by plane to Geneva airport, make sure you take a potential flight delay in consideration before you decide to book your ticket.
